HexLands from Portgate Studios has been announced with a new Steam page live, taking inspiration from the likes of Islanders, Dorf Romantik and Sid Meier's Civilization.

The idea is to give you a more casual, relaxing city-builder with high replay value and randomisation inspired by roguelikes. You build up as much as you can on an island, and keep spreading out across more islands as you go through quests and manage your resources. It gets more difficult the further you go, as they become less habitable.
