I'm always reticent about Humble Bundle. The thing is... I've never bought there before. I've entered lots of times in their website and seen astonishing prices that would make me get a lot of things. But I feel unsafe about the legality of their website. I've read lots of articles, reviews, but somehow I'm still not sure if I should spend money there.

In fact I'd like to try, but how does exactly everything works? Can you have any legal troubles for buying them? How can the price be something like this when some games on Steam right now have an expensive price? How can I confirm they're working with the games' companies in their deals?

I know they're lots of questions, but I can't stop wondering how all of this is possible while the game on Steam currently has a high price.

Could you give me a bit of advice about this?

Humble is one of about three stores I trustfully use (Steam, GOG, Humble). It's all fine.

Ubisoft has a list of approved distributors. It includes sites like Fanatical, Humble Bundle & GOG:

I’m speculating here, but seeing that part of humble‘s revenue goes to charities, these deals could very well be tax write-offs for Ubisoft and other involved publishers. In all cases there’s a deal between the publisher and the humble bundle store.

It's a key seller, just like any other. They are legit. Used them for probably close to a decade. It's not illegal to sell a game cheaper than in Steam
