Cassette Beasts is easily one of the best releases this year, and possibly one of the best creature / monster collecting games in modern times too. It's also about to get bigger!

Not only have they just release the free 1.2 Catacombs Update which gives players a new hidden location to find with eight new monsters including: 3 alternate remastered forms of existing monsters, 4 new monsters to discover in the world and 1 secret unique monster. There's also 10 new moves that include: a new attack, several around status effects and 4 new passives. Update trailer is below:

Even more exciting though, is that big things are coming to the game including multiplayer! You'll be able to explore, trade and do raids together with up to 8 people. There's no exact date yet for it, because implementing multiplayer is quite a big thing for a small team. Not just that, an expansion has been teased with Pier of the Unknown.
