The King's Campaign from Reverie World Studios and Bad Logic Studios is releasing July 13th, and they've recently detailed work to improve it on Steam Deck.

What is it? An updated stand alone version of the Royal Blood DLC campaign for Reverie World Studios' top-selling game, Medieval Kingdom Wars, and includes the expanded map from the game's Greater World DLC and the optional Zombie Mode from the DLC of the same name. It's a mixture of grand-strategy and real-time strategy together.

In a post on Steam the developers noted they worked to ensure it looks good on Steam Deck after dealing with the issues Valve noted in a review. This includes better text sizing (along with the ability to make it even bigger), not showing the cursor until it's moved manually (say from a Steam Input config using a mouse on a trackpad) and removing the need to enter some text. This should solve the issues Valve highlighted to bump it to Verified at release.

The developer also noted how it should run on desktop Linux with Proton too, since it runs just fine on Steam Deck.
