Aurora: The Lost Medallion - The Cave is an upcoming coming-of-age tale of destiny, friendship, and discovery. From Noema Games and Gamera Games, it's a hand-painted point and click adventure that will have full Native Linux support.
You are Aurora, the youngest inhabitant of the Cave. Raised by intelligent machines in a hidden world of technological wonders, a group of kids spend their days preparing for the mysterious “Pilgrimage”, each guided by an equally mysterious voice. As the only child without a Voice to guide her, Aurora must challenge the rigid society of the Cave to gain the title of Pilgrim and embark on an adventure to answer the unsolved question of her origins. The developers said the new demo should give you around an hour of gameplay, but a bit longer if you find some of the puzzles challenging.

Try the demo on Steam now.
Hmm... pretty sure I played this demo a few years ago. I guess they have been on hiatus?
I played their old demo, too, and the most important thing to me is that they're still working on the game. But I asked them on the Steam forums and they said this would be a new demo, or an improved one at least. I don't know if I'm gonna check it, they got me with the first one alright.
*edit* Tried to start it, but the Linux version tries to run an exe. I'll tell them.

They fixed it!
If you're into the genre, do give the demo a try. I was sold already by the old one.
