"Solve puzzles, repair the Personality Core, reunite with some familiar cube-shaped friends, and break the Aperture Laboratories’ safety protocols to gain your freedom. And to make your escape a little bit sweeter. we promise that there will be cake. No lie." - Pine Studio
It's releasing on September 7th offering up:
- Brand new Portal inspired escape-room packed with fresh puzzles.
- New Aperture Science Laboratories character skins.
- Play solo or online with friends. The DLC plays best with 1-4 players, but it's playable with up to 10!

This reminds me of a very old bit. Phil Foglio (the guy behind "Girl Genius") way back in the day had a little comic strip in Dragon Magazine called "What's New" which involved silly spoof game reviews, among other things.
And he was very positive about the new microgame "Escape from Cthulhu": "All you do is light the black candles provided, read aloud the enclosed incantation . . . And then escape!"

I was wondering about the short play time, but it's a free DLC and so it's one big room. They've had 60 minute rooms before, so I'm guessing they're just using it to test the checkpoint system. Anyway, I'll dive into it when it drops. :hype-emote-that-doesn't-exist-yet:
