Ready to see some upcoming indie horror games? Publisher DreadXP is going to run a full Indie Horror Game Showcase on October 19 so here's the details.

It will begin on October 19, 2023, at 10 AM PT / 1 PM ET / 5 PM UTC and it will be streamed across their YouTube, their Steam publisher page and various others will be doing a co-stream like The MIX.

Some of the developers / publishers joining the event will be the likes of Raw Fury (Post Trauma), Nightdive Studios (System Shock 2: Enhanced Edition), Ysbryd Games (World of Horror), Akupara Games (Sorry We're Closed), Torture Star Video (Sniper Killer), Wired Productions (Gori: Cuddly Carnage), Vincent Adinolfi (Heartworm), Atari, Beautiful Glitch, Black Tabby Games, Disordered Media, Misfit Village, Modus Games, Neon Doctrine, Ziggurat Interactive and others - it's only a partial list so it sounds like quite a full event.

DreadXP said they will also be showing off a first-look at their video game adaption of Shudder & Cartel's iconic horror anthology series Creepshow.

Will you be tuning in?

It always surprises people that I like the occasional horror-game, but I do*, so I'll be checking this one out.

*Currently a bit miffed about Konami going totally silent about the Silent Hill 2 remake, but they barely promote any of their IPs, so it's by no means an issue exclusive to that game - it'll show up when it shows up, and this event should be great in the meantime.
