With the Steam Deck OLED fast approaching, and with the original LCD models now cheaper, maybe you want to pick up some new games? Here's some recent picks from what's been Steam Deck Verified lately.
All of the titles listed have a full Steam Deck Verified rating, so they should work out of the box without any issues after installing them so you're good to go! Also noting the ProtonDB rating for desktop Linux gamers.
Ghostrunner 2 (ProtonDB Gold)
"Blood will run in Ghostrunner 2, a hardcore FPP slasher set in a post-apocalyptic cyberpunk future. Become the ultimate cyber ninja and prepare for epic boss fights, improved skills, an interactive story, new game modes, and captivating synthwave soundtrack."

"ERASE YOUR PAST TO PROTECT YOUR FUTURE Once a legendary yakuza, Kazuma Kiryu faked his own death and abandoned his name for the sake of protecting his family. Now, he is thrust into conflict by a mysterious figure attempting to drive him out of hiding."
Persona 5 Tactica (releasing November 17th)
"Join the Phantom Thieves as they lead an uprising of the heart! Assemble an all-star team of heroes in a brand-new story in this thrilling combat adventure set in Persona’s iconic universe."
"Touhou Hero of Ice Fairy is a 2D bullet hell action Touhou Project fangame.

Quoting: GuestIndeed. Additionally, I kind of feel Deck and Denuvo are inherently incompatible. Not from a software point of view, but rather a usage.Quoting: BlackBloodRumIt's worth noting that "Like a Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name" and "Persona 5 Tactica" both contain Denuvogrrrrr Denuvo thanks for the head up, when playing a game with denuvo, you gotta be extra careful switching proton versions or editing files or adding files inside the game folder, it could trigger a 24 hours timeout.
Denuvo expects you to have an active internet connection to verify they still own you, something which a portable device such as the Deck may come not to have. It would suck to install the game, then leave home. Not realising the game required further checks via internet, which your device may not be able to do.
QuoteWhat have you been playing lately? After picking it up for pennies in the recent Humble Handheld Friendly Sale, I've been playing a lot of the wonderful Downwell (Proton) this week.
I also grabbed Retro Classix: Joe & Mac - Caveman Ninja (Proton) in the same sale, since I liked the game as a kid, and have been playing that too. I'm glad that it's been kept in circulation, but I would advise only buying the Data East Retro Classix releases on sale, as they're very barebones, and only allow a harsh-looking CRT-style or super-blurry non-CRT-style display-options, with no bezel artwork - no 1:1 square-pixels view or anything like that.

I've been hooked to Mini Metro and Mini Motorways, bought them dirt cheap 2 weeks ago and now I dream with a white background.

Quoting: Eriand now I dream with a white background.Oh man, I know how that is. I play enough Bomberman that an epic session often leads to me seeing random maze layouts being blown up when I shut my eyes.

Don't worry, I'm pretty sure we're alright - it's related to the Tetris Effect (the neurological phenomenon, not the game that pinched its name), and was a known thing generations before video games existed!

That was actually a very interesting reading, thanks. The human brain wont stop to surprise me, but the GTP part is kinda worrying if that's happening to people.
