Vampire Survivors - Adventures Update out now, plus Among Us collab DLC coming

Well this is quite unexpected. Vampire Survivors is getting a new DLC later this month with an Among Us cross-over. Plus, a big update is also out now.

First up, the free Adventures Update which brings with it self-contained, mini story-modes that remix the game's content. They will keep expanding this but the first initial part out now adds in:

• 1 relic, Atlas Gate: Enables base game Adventures. Found in Boss Rash, minute 7.
• 1 new achievement for obtaining the Atlas Gate (in-game only. Will be added to the list on Steam together with the next content patch, your 100% is safe for the rest of the year!).
• 2 base game Adventures.
• 1 Adventure for the Legacy of the Moonspell DLC.

Developer poncle said part of the point is to "actually to give you an excuse to play VS when you feel like it, but have already unlocked everything the game has to offer" on top of giving you a "feeling of starting fresh, with a different set of weapons, without actually remaining behind with the progression of the base game"

As for the Vampire Survivors: Emergency Meeting DLC, they took some elements of Among Us and "freely re-interpreted them in a Vampire Survivors spin, for some outrageous, ridiculous, and hopefully fun, combinations of characters and weapons". Check out the trailer:

Vampire Survivors: Emergency Meeting DLC releases December 18th for $2.49 / €2.49 / £1.99. It's pretty content packed too with multiple characters, 15 new weapons, a new stage and new music. I'm totally sold already.

The game has Native Linux support (still not advertised) and it is Steam Deck Verified. It's also regularly one of the most played games on Steam Deck.
