From the team that gave us Alwa's Awakening and Alwa's Legacy, Elden Pixels have announced the release date for their latest gorgeous looking adventure platformer with A Void Hope launching February 29th.

"A Void Hope takes you on an atmospheric narrative adventure to find a cure for a collapsed city. Follow the story of a tormented couple as they try to decipher reality from nightmares and evade the shadowy threats lurking in the dark."

I really enjoyed their first time games, some tightly designed platforming in wonderful looking worlds. And it seems with each new game they've been upping the production values too and this looks like it could be really interesting to run through. There's also a new trailer:

At release they said it will be available on Steam and GOG. It will have full Native Linux support and there's a demo available on Steam right now too. The developer also said they've already tested it working great on Steam Deck so they're hoping to see it be Steam Deck Verified.

Will you be checking this one out?

Looks great. The "avoid combat - embrace exploration" bit looks like an interesting departure from the metroidvania template of their previous games.
