Want to get Linux on your Lenovo Legion Go? Bazzite Linux was recently updated and now should be feature complete for the Legion Go so you can get a more SteamOS-like experience for it just like the Steam Deck.
Bazzite also recently gained a rather fancy looking website dedicated to it. Making it much easier and clearer to see exactly what it is: the next generation of Linux Gaming, well they think so anyway.
What exactly is it? As they explain: Bazzite is a custom image built on Fedora Atomic technology that brings the best of Linux gaming to all of your devices (yep, even your favorite handheld). Featuring a rock-solid base with automatic updates and ninety days of rollbacks.". It's some really clever stuff, and includes plenty of added extras for gaming.
Posting on the official forum, one of the Bazzite team mentioned: "the Lenovo Legion Go is now feature complete as of the latest update" and that "assuming you’ve followed the alternative handheld section of our readme that you can now enjoy full feature-parity with the Steam Deck on your Lenovo Legion Go".

Valve really did light a fire under various hardware vendors with the Steam Deck didn't they! Nice to see more of them now having easyish ways to get Linux on them too for a more open experience.

I'd say it is over-fancy.
My laptop's fan speed has been tweaked to remain inaudible on the youtube website. Bazzite's manages to get it to spin up to audible levels, with javascript blocked!
I hope do they a better job on respecting power usage with their os.

Quoting: SzkodnixThe only OS that should matter on that kind of devices from Lenovo
sorry for the intromission, but by the avatar you are using i guess you are an pepper and carrot fan?
not everyone know how to flash an OS to their device, maybe they can make an money reseling it and if they make enough money, they make make lenovo realize that there is actual an demmand for linux devices...
nah, i might be dreaming...
btw, their site is quite cool! it looks professional (by professional i mean those sites that act like an ad for an product instead of sites target at niche audiences like us)

Quoting: hardpenguinThis looks really awesome but still I would recommend supporting the device that actually COMES with Linux preinstalled (Steam Deck).Yeah, definitely that. Probably it's going to be more expensive than the Steam Deck anyway.
Quoting: elmapulI sure am! :)Quoting: SzkodnixThe only OS that should matter on that kind of devices from Lenovo
