Level Zero: Extraction is an upcoming extraction horror game with high-stakes asymmetric PvPvPvE and FPS combat, and according to the developer they will add Steam Deck support.
More about it: "Level Zero: Extraction is a multiplayer extraction horror, a unique take on survival experience which blends the heart-pounding tension of asymmetric horrors with the high-stakes showdowns of extraction shooters. Embark on a dangerous scavenging expedition where 3 teams of up to 3 mercenaries compete for loot, and dare to come back. Or take on the role of two deadly alien monsters and hunt for human prey."

In a post on the official Steam forum a user asked if it will be playable on Steam Deck, to which a developer replied very clearly to say: "Hey! Yeah, we plan on adding SD support in the future". And of course since it will run with Proton, it will be playable on Desktop Linux too. Looks like it could be a good one to keep an eye on if you're in the mood for more survival shooters like it.
You can wishlist / follow on Steam.
Quoting: Purple Library GuyWhat is "extraction horror"?Well extraction is where you go in, do stuff and attempt to leave. Horror means some form of scary, combine the two.

Just kidding, love you Liam.
I have still two questions: is there a way to play single player and are there plans regarding anti-cheat (the later question is interesting for every competetive game, since we all know the shenanigans which come with anti-cheat + Linux).

I think visits to the dentist count ....
Quoting: LinasWell, for me I was like, OK, that's probably what it is, but it seems a kind of intuitively unlikely horror genre so maybe I'll ask. Because anyone doing missions from which they expect to be "extracted" would normally be some kind of violence professional who wouldn't be scared by much. And you know, I feel like the line between "dangerous" and "horror" is to a large degree about whether the character has a reasonable expectation of being able to handle it. If they shouldn't be able to handle it and feel like this is something they can't cope with, it's horror. So, "extraction horror" feels like a subgenre that would kind of undermine itself, so I guess I'm just kind of surprised it exists.Quoting: Liam DaweQuoting: Purple Library GuyWhat is "extraction horror"?Well extraction is where you go in, do stuff and attempt to leave.
