A rare update for Red Dead Redemption 2 has landed, and for those who want a little more performance, you might like this one especially if you're on Steam Deck.
Update version 1.32 from March 19th bumps the AMD FSR from 2.0 to 2.2 so not only will you get better performance with FSR, but now thanks to jumping two versions you should also see better visual quality at the same time. Nice to see a game originally released in 2019 for PC (2018 for console) continue to see such improvements and bug fixes multiple years later.
The game is currently rated Steam Deck Playable by Valve and Gold on ProtonDB.

If you've been playing it on Linux Desktop or Steam Deck - let me know how you're getting on in the comments. I've yet to actually dive in properly to this one, there's just too many big games to play. A nice problem to have though of course.

Cool, now where's our next-gen console patch motherfuckers? I'd literally pay like $10 USD to upgrade my RDR2 Xbone to Series via a patch.
Good luck getting Rockstar to provide any next-gen console patch for any of the their games. They would rather resell you the full game again with updated graphics over patching it and if the GTA Trilogy was any indication, they don't seem to want to put any effort of making something that could be good into something better.
