As for the Top 100 most played Steam Deck games, in order of highest daily active player count between March of 2023 and March of 2024 are (along with any discount):

It really does surprise me on the types of games that are popular on Steam Deck, just continuing to show what a ridiculously versatile device it is.

As always, I am complete torn and overwhelmed on what to buy. I have hundreds of games still to complete, a massive pile of shame collecting dust and an unholy attachment to Helldivers 2 right now. So do I really need more games? Yes, of course I do.

If you're a bit stuck an easy recommendation is Bloons TD 6, it's probably the most fun I've ever had with a tower defense game. It's flawless on Linux with Proton and at 50% off it's an easy purchase if you like TD games. Baldur's Gate 3 also only has a tiny discount at 10% off but gosh — best RPG I've played in years and it's not likely to be cheaper any time soon.

Check out everything on the Steam store. What will you be picking up?

Man alive, there are some phenomenal discounts in there. If only I had the discipline to wait until these sales. Sadly ... I DO NOT.

I'll have a proper look through later, but Death's Door and Blue Fire are the games on my wishlist that meet my discount threshold for a non-native but Deck Verified game.

As ever, I am obligated to point out that Super Bomberman R 2 is in this sale for 40% off.

And now it's time for me to see how my wishlist is looking now that the sale is here.
I gotta say Halo MCC "Drive or Die" servers are pretty fun, kind-of like how Counter Strike Source had surfing and sniping in the Bedroom and Bathroom maps where you are bug sized.

w00t! Gotta take it easy this sale though after losing my job. I budgeted a little money for this though. So it'll be all good with just a few things. lol
Maybe I'll buy Steins;Gate. I'm surprised I only own Darling's Embrace and not the original game. It's been a few years; maybe I'll consider this the equivalent of a rewatch. Wish doukyuusei had the Japanese script...

Or I could just play the games I own already...I'm probably going to do that.
