Steam's Endless Replayability Fest has launched and you know the drill - it's a great time to check out various games across demos, discounts and teasers of various upcoming games.
It's not as big as their main Next Fest event of course, but still a good chance for you to add some more titles to your wishlists, especially if you love games that can be played over and over and over again. Valve also added a couple of new Points Shop items too.
Valve also made a new trailer for the event:
Direct Link
Quickly cherry-picking some of the interesting looking upcoming games that show they will have Native Linux support include:
Dungeon Clawler (demo available)
Dungeon Clawler is a Roguelike Claw Machine Deckbuilder. Build your unique deck, fight enemies by grabbing weapons and items from a claw machine and find special artifacts that help you on your quest to reclaim something you lost... Aim carefully to claw your way through this dungeon!
KIBORG (demo available)
KIBORG is a fast-paced, story-driven action game with rogue-lite encounters. Each challenge is unique and the narrative always moves forward, win or lose. Become an unstoppable war machine and face the consequences of your actions as you lead a resistance group on a faraway prison planet.
The glory of Rome is at your fingertips in this city-building game where you must appease the gods, enact laws, and develop complex supply chains to meet the needs of your citizens.
REDLINE CROOKS (demo available)
REDLINE CROOKS is a fast-paced roguelite combat racing game in which you destroy cops, walls and possibly yourself in a chaotic pursuit of freedom and riches. Upgrade, Slam, Taunt and Boost your way out of imprisonment through the lawless roads that lie ahead, and you may find personal absolution.
Rogue Blight (Playtest available)
Rogue Blight is a souls-like, rogue-lite, combat focused RPG. Fight your way through ever-changing maps. Customize your playstyle based on what you find. Meet other struggling heroes. Death will be punishing, but you will get stronger with every journey. Are you up for the challenge?
Dive into a factory-building game where the focus is on just that — building huge factories! Construct sprawling multi-level factories and min-max your layouts without limits. Shapez 2 is tailor-made for enthusiasts who crave the thrill of optimizing production lines and perfecting automation.
Streets of Rogue 2 is a crazy, immersive RPG sandbox set in a vast randomly generated open world where freedom and fun are dialed up to 11. Fight, sneak, hack, farm, build, steal, or talk your way to power as you try to topple a corrupt president in countless possible ways – solo or with friends.
Yield! (has a demo)
Forge your Kingdom amidst the Ruins of Rome! As the world crumbles, rebuild civilization and shape your destiny with every decision. Unleash your strategic prowess, conquer provinces, and explore dynamically generated campaigns that promise endless challenges!
There are of course masses of games in the event as usual, and going over them all would be impossible myself. There's also plenty of great looking games on sale, I'm having a bit of choice paralysis over here so be sure to come back and comment your personal picks that you've found.
Balatro (Proton) is definitely temping with 10% off, and it's still quite new so not likely to go lower for a good while. Dwarf Fortress (Native) also has 20% off, if you've been itching to pick that up. Terra Nil (Native) having 30% off is also mighty tempting right now.
Steam's Endless Replayability Fest runs until May 20th at 10am PT / 5pm UTC.
Check it out on the Steam page.
QuoteNova RomaThought, "oh, that looks interesting; I'll put that on my wishlist"... and it was already on my wishlist.
Quoting: WoodlandorDoes it have bombs or something? 🤔Yes, but that's entirely beside the point! And, y'know, there aren't any Bomberman games in this Fest.
Quoting: WoodlandorShe doesnt play games that dont have bombs....... Even Stardew Valley has bombs....... I think thats why she likes it so much........Quoting: PenglingSpelunky (Proton) is in this Fest for £2.74. If you don't already have it, now's a really good time to pick it up for peanuts! (Honestly, this game is so endlessly replayable, I've never fully understood why it got a sequel...)
