Pretty unsurprising really. Hades II is the most played Steam Deck game for May 2024, with the original also high up in the list.

Even though it's in Early Access and clearly unfinished, Hades II has already won over the hearts of many gamers, shooting up to a Very Positive rating on Steam from over 37,000 players leaving their thoughts on it.

Sorted by hours played top to bottom here's May 2024's most played Steam Deck games:

As I see what I'm playing is not on the list as usual. :-D

I'm currently playing Death Stranding: Director's Cut and it's working really well on Steam Deck now.

amazing that out of the top ten there are only two proper AAA games (fallout 4 and diablo 4, I'm not including hd2 don't @ me), and most of the rest are specialized studios like Larian, Fromsoft, Supergiant who just keep on putting out absolute bangers without big publishers or live service nonsense.

With all the noise you'd think AAA is the dominant force in gaming, but just look at that list.

AI-battles in the absolutely wonderful Saturn Bomberman via RetroDECK (which I highly recommend both for its excellent single-player and multiplayer offerings - it's not only a great entry in the series, but a good jumping-on point if you've never played one, as well), the usual daily Stumble Guys (Proton), and inching ever-closer to completing Doom II (Proton), this week so far!

As your Friendly Neighbourhood Sports Gaming Spider-Man I have mostly been emulating 6th gen sports games as per usual..... With my favourites being Triple Play 2002 and Need For Speed: Underground......

I did play Vice: Project Doom on the NES last week and that was actually a really good game...... Well worth a play through even if it does really bullsh*t hard towards the end.....

I've been playing "Endless Legend" and "Warhammer 40,000: Gladius - Relics of War", both due to a tipoff from GoL that they (a) existed and (b) were currently free. Having fun with both.
