Valve released a fresh update to Proton Experimental for June 28th, bringing their usual assortment of game fixes for Linux desktop and Steam Deck.

This release makes it so the Steam release of Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora will run, although it notes it's for desktop Linux only. Mainly due to how much of a strain it puts on the Steam Deck.

Other fixes and improvements for this release include:

  • Fixed SCP Secret Laboratory crashing after a recent game update.
  • Fixed Dinogen Online crashing randomly on start.
  • Added support for Steamworks SDK 1.60.
  • Enabled Xalia for MultiVersus - prerequisite installation can now be done with a controller.
  • Fixed 9.0 regressions:
    • Noita mods no longer fail to update.

As seen in the changelog.

As a Noita modder, that is a very strange and specific regression. Glad it's fixed.

I have nearly 800 hrs in Noita and I've used one mod, once, for about 2 hrs (Wand lab). Noita is incredible. Go play Noita.
