I was already a ridiculously big fan of Selaco, with it being one of the best retro-styled shooters (and just...shooters in general) I've played in forever and now the Bullet Time X mod has just made it even more amazing.

Available via the Steam Workshop making it a one-click addition to the game, thanks to Selaco having great modding support. It adds in a slow-motion system to the game you can activate at the touch of a button. Inspired by the Max Payne game not only is the world slowed down but everything including weapons, movement, sounds, everything.

The mod gives you a new adrenaline meter that slowly fills up by itself, and you can bump it up by taking down enemies. There's two modes where you can tap B to slow things down, or press V to activate "Shootdodge" to jump and make it go even slower.

You also get a mod menu, so you can adjust some settings, like giving yourself infinite bullet time.

This is going to be so much fun to use and it works with existing save games, no need to start over with it. I can't wait to see what other crazy mods people make for Selaco. You might also want the Infinite Flashlight mod too perhaps.

Selaco has Native Linux support and is playable on Steam Deck. It's currently in Early Access.

You can buy Selaco on Steam priced at $24.99 / €24.50 / £20.99.

I'm looking forward to this when it's no longer in Early Access. Hopefully they'll sort out the text before release so it can get that green tick, since the Deck is where I'll play it.

I play this on my Steam Deck, and it runs perfectly.

Oh, how did I miss this mod until now? During the demo bullet time like MP/FEAR was the one thing I felt it really needed esp with how influenced by the latter it is.
