With the introduction of the Steam Deck OLED in November 2023, the Steam Deck LCD 64GB and 512GB are being phased out and eventually won't be sold any more. The main models that will continue are the 256GB LCD, 512GB OLED and 1TB OLED Steam Decks.
So to help things along Valve has given the Steam Deck LCD 64GB and 512GB a 15% discount, which will last until July 11th 10am PDT / 5PM UTC. This is of course only until stocks lasts, so you may want to be quick to secure one.

As a happy owner of an LCD Steam Deck and using it every night for gaming, to me that's an absolute bargain, if I didn't own one right now, I'd snap that up in a heart beat.

Idem, I got a 'refurbished' LCD Deck and I love it, I've played IDK how many hours of Speed Dreams on it, it's awesome.

I only own the LCD Deck, but in my opinion it's no less worthy of purchase than the OLED model. I mean, Valve surely wouldn't have released it otherwise? 
And for me personally, the upgrades aren't really that meaningful. I mostly use it at home, so battery life doesn't matter. I don't think I need an OLED screen, as I'm perfectly happy with mine on the LCD Deck, and I don't really fancy screen burn-in that OLEDs are susceptible to. Also, the new WIFI chip wouldn't make that much a difference, as my internet speed is already slower than the old chip. Maybe the bigger screen + less bezels would be cool though. But that's not enough reason for me to buy another Deck. I bought the 64GB model and upgrade the internal storage to 1TB, that was certainly cheaper than paying premium for Valve's storage options

I find it curious how long the "limited" LCD supplies last. On the high end, the OLED Limited Edition was also available for longer than expected. Do people just singularly love the OLED base model and buy nothing else, or is the market getting saturated? But then why does Valve still not sell the Deck in Australia etc.?
Anyway, I don't trust the PWM flicker of the Samsung OLED screen, so I probably won't upgrade my LCD model for the years to come.

So, you can also put a uSD card next to that and combine both drives as Steam storage? Or how does this work, actually?
