A couple of smaller updates for both Steam Deck and Desktop Linux to go over today, as Valve keep pushing towards the next stable update.

The first is SteamOS 3.6.7 Preview for Steam Deck, which is a one-liner:

  • Fixed an issue where colors could appear washed out when using Steam Remote Play as a client.

On top of that there was a new Steam Client Beta released for both on June 24th with these changes:

Big Picture Mode

  • Fixed a potential crash when a bluetooth device pairing request times out.
  • Fixed a case where the battery status and "Allow wake from sleep" toggle would fail to show for supported bluetooth devices.

Another Beta from June 21st:

Big Picture Mode

  • Fixed on-screen keyboard failing to hide fully after entering text in-game.

And also another Beta from June 19th:

General

  • Prevented some duplicate network traffic if ISteamInventory service calls are duplicated in error by Steamworks SDK games.

Steam Input

  • Fixed missing input with some third party Nintendo Switch controllers.
  • Fixed hang waiting for controller testing after initial setup.
  • Fixed being unable to cancel initial controller setup.
  • Fixed touch controller being unresponsive after changing mouse mode, or other settings in the Steam Link app.
