First up The Thing: Remastered is a faithful restoration of the cult-classic 2002 third-person survival horror shooter game inspired by Universal Pictures' genre-defining 1982 film, The Thing, which serves as a continuation of the original movie. Nightdive Studios has upgraded this horrifying classic for the modern era through its proprietary KEX Engine for play on current-generation gaming devices up to a 4K resolution at 120FPS:

I can't believe it, they doing a remaster of The Thing. That's awesome
I still own the original The Thing on CD, to this day I'm still amazed how they fit such a game in just about 250mb.

The game was pretty hard and unforgiving but fun. Never finished it.

I had The Thing game back then but never really got into it. I don't know why. Brilliant film though.

Every time I see a reference to Killing Time, I briefly wonder if it's going to be an adaptation of the awesome Indigo Prime story!

John Carpenter's movies do have a "B Grade" quality on them, but that should not stop people to give them a chance. They can have a great screenplays and casting choices. Besides The Thing, another example is Escape From New York. A film that not only influenced others that came after it, but heavily inspired Hideo Kojima in the creation of Solid Snake in his Metal Gear series.

Actually incredible! Killing Floor was one of the first games I played as a child and I had The Thing on the PS2 when it released. I do own Killing Floor on GOG for nostalgia reasons and would love to replay The Thing too :)
