Build various contraptions in an almost Zachtronics-like automation puzzle game, Captain Contraption's Chocolate Factory is quite reasonably priced and is available now with a demo you can try too. It has Native Linux support too.

It's an open-ended puzzle game where you get to design and build your own Rube Goldberg styled crazy machines to combine ingredients to make chocolates. Automate your production using simple components to create ingenious contraptions, which are as satisfying to watch as they are to optimise. Once it gets going, and you see all the moving parts, it is quite something. A little Opus Magnum and World of Goo combined perhaps.

It even includes an easy to use level editor, the same they use to build the game so you can create your own challenges. With Steam Workshop support, you can put your creations online and play those of others too. They even have leaderboards to compete against others on them too.

For £8.50 you can't really go wrong with it if you like designing machines and automation.

Check it out on Steam and itch.io.

Read that as Captain Contraception's Chocolate Factory and scratched my head for a bit.

But anyway, the game looks like it could be a lot of fun.

You know, with so many games, I just couldn't remember what it was called <_<
You know, compared to all those other factory-esque games, this has one fundamental advantage:
The other ones don't have any chocolate.

Chocolate can't save everything.
