You have to hand it to JSAUX, they have something for everything at this point. And they just launched their new 6-in-1 JSAUX Dock that can be pulled apart. Compatible with the Steam Deck, ROG Ally / Ally X, Legion Go and no doubt many others if they all fit.

If you're somehow still in the market for a handheld device dock, despite them being everywhere and JSAUX having 1…2…6 etc models, here's another choice for you with the "6-in-1 Multifunctional Docking Station".

Here's the inputs it has:

  • 1* USB-C port for connecting to the handheld device.
  • 1* USB-C 3.2 Gen 1 (5Gbps).
  • 2* USB-A 3.2 Gen 1 (5Gbps).
  • 1* Gigabit Ethernet (1000Mbps).
  • 1* HDMI (4K@120Hz).
  • 1* USB-C (PD 100W input).

At $45.99 it seems like a really good deal for what you get, a decent amount of ports and looks pretty nice.

The unique point about this one? The hub part that takes all the inputs can be pulled out of the base of the dock. So it's quite portable overall. Makes me think perhaps they might eventually sell upgrades for the actual input hub part of the dock, to just slot it into the base. At that price though, they will probably just make a whole new one.

Check it out on their website.

I wonder how wobbly it is with such a skinny base. It kind of seems like it depends on the USB cable for balance.

Nice idea... Just received the 7in1 model, a couple of hours ago. Should have come here first!

This said, my iVoler model was acting weird (hdmi not connecting at every time and micro sd card, in my SD, unusable when docked, go figure...)

The sd card thing is pretty weird. Anyone else got a similar issue?

Edit (26/07):
Yep! Issue with SD card gone, with jsaux dock.

I just finally broke down and got one with an NVME drive. Anyone aware of a controller one can use to 'wake it up' and/or go into the boot menu remotely? Would be awesome as a thing to dock into the TV for the dual boot to Batocera.

So far we can't do this with the old model. This may not be accurate but based on what I know using a controller to wake up the device seems to work only for wired interfaces or with dongles. The issue here is that when a device goes to sleep, so does the antenna/radio that communicates with controllers. I could be totally wrong but that's likely the reason. Another cause could be hardware limitations, which may be the case instead.

Looking back at some saved posts, wake up feature seems to have been implemented on the OLED version but no luck for us...earlier adopters.

Sad times, as I figured the original one would be perfect for such things.
