Remember the classic game Snake? Well this is ART for Snakes, a "snake-ish" game about eating the most expensive paintings you can before the time runs out. Disclosure: one of the team is a previous contributor to GamingOnLinux.

Here you use snake-like controls to move through and leap from painting to painting across a branching 4 course campaign. Originally created as a prototype during a Game Jam, a big 1.0 update was released a few days ago turning it into a full game and expanding basically everything.

It's free, so might be a nice little casual one to check out on your next coffee break. Mastering the controls on this one is actually a little challenging. There's something weirdly satisfying about munching on paintings across the various galleries.

Check it out on the itch.io page.

Definitely in my top twenty list of games where you eat art as a snake!
I notice it says "Linux and Windows" (but not Mac). I think there's going to be gradually more of that over time.
I'm intrigued. The movement controls shown at the beginning remind me of when you get randomly polymorphed into a worm in Noita.

I remember first seeing that maybe a few years ago, and thinking "Ah, it's finally happening…" And then I was looking at Steam just now, and noticed a bunch of Valve's games have that too: TF2, Portal 2, etc.
