Another fresh month and so we can see overall what people have been playing on Steam Deck, so here's your run over what everyone's jumping into.

Going over the list on Steam that actually covers Aug 4, 2024 - Sep 2, 2024 as I'm a bit late (but it won't have changed much in a day or so), here's what Valve listed as the most played:

  1. Black Myth: Wukong
  2. ELDEN RING
  3. Baldur's Gate 3
  4. Stardew Valley
  5. Balatro
  6. Diablo IV
  7. Vampire Survivors
  8. Grand Theft Auto V
  9. Cult of the Lamb
  10. Slay the Spire
  11. Cyberpunk 2077
  12. Fallout 4
  13. Deep Rock Galactic: Survivor
  14. Red Dead Redemption 2
  15. Fields of Mistria
  16. The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Special Edition
  17. No Man's Sky
  18. Hogwarts Legacy
  19. Hades
  20. The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt

No surprise to see Black Myth: Wukong up on the list. It has no rating from Valve yet, but is listed as Gold on ProtonDB. A lot of familiar names there as usual, with a lot of people generally sticking to their favourites.

Totally been feeding a hundred hours into that SDV listing as I just needed something cozy.
Now I'm finally moving ahead into Halls of Torment.

Well, I contributed a teeny tiny little bit to Stardew Valley's presence on the list. But it's mostly been emulated goodness via RetroDECK, as has been the case for most of this year for me.

I've been playing Dredge (GOG) and Lonely Mountains: Downhill (Steam) on the SD.

3 minutes to midnight and Ghost of Tsushima. The latter trying to finishing it, although might leave it, because it did not click with me at all :(

Besides the usual sports games I discovered that the original Sid Meier's Civilization was ported to the SNES....... So I have been playing a bit of that over the past few days........

Since the last time I said what I'd been playing, I've played a bit of The Captain, which has been fun so far, and I've just tonight started The Forgotten City, which I don't think should have got the green tick but has also been good so far.
I have played nothing but Stardew Valley. It’s just so familiar it’s easy to keep going back.
