Valve released another stable Steam Client update for Desktop and Steam Deck, just a few quick-fixes but sounds like they were needed.

Just recently if you missed it Valve also pushed out a large Steam Client update that included the new Steam Families. Steam Game Recording is still in Beta though while they continue improving it.

Here's all that's changed for the September 17th update:

General

  • Fixed a rare case where the UI could get stuck showing a loading throbber at startup while in Offline Mode.
  • Fixed startup movie intermittently failing to play at launch.

Steam Input

  • Fixed case where virtual menus may be left visible when mode shifting.
  • Fixed Steam overlay sometimes toggling when activating on-screen keyboard from controller chord.

The changelog is the same across Desktop and Steam Deck.
