Remember somewhat recently there was a new campaign to highlight bot issues in Team Fortress 2 (TF2)? This was part of the SaveTF2 petition, which gathered over 340,000 names and now it's at Valve's HQ.
Still to this day TF2 is one of the most popular Valve games, with it seeing a peak concurrent player count of 64,656 in the last 24 hours. That puts it in the top 20 most played games on Steam from all developers.
The creator of the petition website ("Thewhat") posted up on X / Twitter across the weekend, first showing off a picture of the book actually inside Valve's offices:
In a later post they posted up a rather fancy video of the book noting (video in the link):
340,000+ names all compiled into 1 book. This is a symbol of the astounding amount of people that love TF2 and want to see it flourish.
This book has now reached its destination at Valve HQ. The future is looking bright for TF2. Thanks for taking part, everyone ❤️

Seems like after the recent Summer Update along with news about a comic, and various bot account bans that things are looking quite a lot better for TF2.

I'm so petty - I'd have happily dropped the full £55 on Friday to play it, but they had to cash-grab, and now my goddam principles are throwing them a middle finger. And launching on a Monday? Yeah, okay Focus. You got at least 130000 people to buy early access (according to SteamDB on Saturday), so you don't care as you go to bed on your essentially "free" £3.25M, but you ain't getting my £55 now.
