Halls of Torment has been a great hit for developers Chasing Carrots, with it hitting 1 million sales on Steam. So great to see another game made with Godot Engine doing so well, especially nice that it is Steam Deck Verified and has a Native Linux version too.

What is it? Imagine Vampire Survivors and the original Diablo had a baby. It's a little like that.

In the announcement on Steam they said "It’s a great achievement for us so close after the release, and we’ve decided our journey won’t end here. We want to move further after leaving Early Access. We are currently working on some additional free content, fixing more bugs, and improving the game’s performance.".

Additionally they have a little roadmap of some things they're working on. Plus they want to make a Supporter DLC that will include "character and UI skins, the soundtrack, and maybe an additional surprise" which they will use as a sort of test for DLC integration and if things go well they will use it to properly extend the game (along with free updates).

You can buy it on Steam.

This game is absolutely amazing. I already spent more than 100 hours in it and still want to play it more. The amount of things developers added with 1.0 release is huge and what is best no live service crap nowhere in the game. :-)
