Valve updated Proton Experimental again for running Windows games on Linux desktop and Steam Deck. Here's what's changed for the October 18th update. Need to know more about Proton? Check out my beginner's guide.

For starters Valve lists these as newly playable:

And then just a few fixes for you:

  • Fixed playback of videos in The Curse of Brotherhood.
  • Fixed FPS drops in Red Dead Redemption 2 when keys are pressed.
  • Fixed Korean input in Diablo IV.
  • Fixed EA Desktop App setup not being configurable.

Also if you missed it and somewhat related to the above, Red Dead Redemption and Undead Nightmare come to PC on October 29.
