Mosa Lina is a really fantastic game. It's also completely insanely ridiculous, full of chaos and now you can bring a friend along for the ride. It has Native Linux support and is steam deck verified Steam Deck Verified.

What is it? The developers say it's a "Hostile Interpretaion of immersive sim design". Basically, it's a challenging platformer with a whole lot of ridiculous physics going on. It's super random in the design, the developer explained how it's a "response to the current trend of Immersive Sim design, where every ability is perfectly suited to solve a specific problem in the game".

In an update launched in September that I missed called The Collaboration Update they basically re-built the game so it's no longer using web browser tech to run the game, with it being fully native now. The benefit is that it runs much faster, it's smaller and many other improvements.

Also there's now full 2 player co-op in the game with local and online support. This co-op mode works with all existing modes and custom levels, plus there's two new co-op exclusive gameplay modifiers.

However, their recording system was removed, as they believe Steam Recording will be better. See all the improvements in the changelog.

You can buy it on Steam.

Ooooh I had played this with a friend taking turns using Remote Play Together but the input lag made it unfair at times. Sharing levels at the same time ought to be even more fun!

Is it a current trend ? I thought it was a recurring issue for the genre. Deus Ex 2 is like out in 2007.
