Kube Games have announced a huge upgrade to Imperiums: Greek Wars, a combination of turn-based 4X and historical grand strategy with a mythological twist.

Released back in 2020 the developer has continued to update it since, along with a latest expansion Imperiums: Rise of Caesar being released back in February of 2024. In an announcement on Steam the developer said they are "committed to providing full support for Proton clients and Steam Deck" with version 1.4.1 out now with these highlights:

  • Full Steam Deck support (issues and CTDs fixed, performance optimizations, and more).
  • Proton support.
  • New sound player implementation (sound should now work on Steam Deck, Proton and for anyone without the "Windows Media Player" system feature installed).
  • Functionality to switch monitors (You can now switch the monitor the game runs on by pressing Shift + Windows + left/right arrow).
  • A new automatic tooltip that informs players about the currently playing song.
