You know the drill - below I'll go through and individually list the expected compatibility on Steam Deck and Linux desktop, along with any ProtonDB rating and noting any Native Linux versions available. Plus each is a Steam link, so you can go see more info on each if you need to.

Are there people in the world who have the slightest chance of wanting to play Civ V, that don't already have Civ V?

Article contains a suspicious link pointing to: http : //humblebundleinc.sjv.io/Z6bonW, that doesn't open for me (that is how I noticed) and which uBlock origin doesn't like very much.

I everything alright?

It's cool except that Civilization V was sabotaged on Linux by Aspir studios.

When Civilization VI came out, they downgraded the patches for Civilization V.

From a Civilization V game in a 100% functional and bug-free version, they forced us to go back to an earlier patch that is unstable and crashes machines ;-(

Since then, you have to launch the game with the command below so that it does not crash if your PC has a CPU with more than 4 cores...

taskset -c 0,1,2,3 steam steam://rungameid/8930

In short, this put me off buying Civilization VI and the following ones. Especially since despite multiple exchanges with Aspir technical support, they refused to revert to the final patch that allowed him to play a perfectly stable game.

Trust malicious people to port your software to Linux and you will be sure to lose your customers...

That's an official Humble Bundle affiliate link, much like the one in the site sidebar. It's explained here (which is also linked at the top of every article).

As nicely explained above, that’s just our affiliate link.
The affiliate link doesn't work for me on Firefox 132.0.1: I just get taken back to this page.

That will be your blocklists in your plugins. At some point they decided to stop showing you a message and just auto-close. Not something I can solve, and I've told people this repeatedly: it's a terrible UX choice for users to do that.

Hello, normally I buy every humble bundle by maximizing my donation slider to either gaming on linux or steam deck hq using their affiliate links. As a way to support the community a little bit.
But it's not letting me do that this time. Is this the case for everyone else? because it looks from my perspective like humble changed something.
