The developer did send over a key and the Linux version runs fine, although you'll need a good system to run it on as even at 1080p on Medium it was often struggling to hit 60FPS on my Radeon 6800 XT. Featuring lots of quite beautiful scenery, and a story that really captures your attention (although it's slow going) from the very beginning. Full of mystery, the story is centred around a small valley and village where a creature resembling the mythical Phoenix which appears to be setting things ablaze. The time-travelling mechanic is interesting too, with you seeing the way time moves as you interact with the world.

The End of the Sun is a slow but thoughtful and thoroughly interesting adventure.
