Exabyte Games announced they're bringing their popular survival strategy base-builder to PC with Final Outpost: Definitive Edition. There's a demo available now with Native Linux support. Ready for Steam Next Fest, the demo has also received a major update to give you a better look at the game.

As a quick bit of history. It originally released on iOS back in February 2020 grabbing over 250,000 downloads. From there it expanded onto Android in July 2021, and as of September 2024 hit over 1 million downloads. The upcoming PC release is "the full PC package" they said with "new content, original soundtrack, in-world events like traders, prestige system for endless replayability, difficulty modes, cloud saving and more…".
