Here's a bit of fluff for you today: fans of Deep Rock Galactic are in for a treat, as you can now grab an officially licensed beer mug and they sure do look fancy. With it you'll be able to give cheers in style for rock, stone and Karl.

They're technically not available yet, since it's going through a crowdfunding campaign. Against a €250,000 goal though, it's smashed through it like a dwarf through rock and at time of writing has amassed €583,000 in loot from nearly 4,000 wannabe dwarves. Certainly not cheap, but this kind of custom merch never is, at a minimum it's €55 (about £46) just to get one of them.

According to the campaign they're as tough as the dwarves themselves. They say all the mugs will be safe for dishwashers and microwaves, along with them being suitable for hot drinks too along with being "tested to meet EU and FDA standards". You probably shouldn't go throwing them around though.

There's some extras you can add in too like themed coasters, a special bottle opener, a bar mat and more.

With Deep Rock Galactic being one of my favourite co-op games, I'm itching to grab one of these…

Of course plastic, rock and stone doesn't make for great mugs. However; ROCK AND STONE!

55 Euro for a plastic mug? Hard pass.

It's very pricey, which I could muster...if it was made out of ceramic or aluminum.

£45... but they look epic... but they're plastic... but ROCK AND STONE... but it's kickstarter...

Argh! I'm torn!

I get that plastic was probably the only reasonable option for an accurate look... but I really don't fancy drinking my booze out of a plastic cup. Rock and stone for the effort though!

For inspiration, Youtuber DrillingInTheNameOf made a series of videos on real life versions of the DRG drinks. As a professional bartender, he knows his stuff. Lloyd would be proud of The Abyss Bar series!
