Valve released a fresh update for Proton Experimental today pulling in some more fixes for various Windows games to run on Linux / Steam Deck.

Noted to be now playable is Sniper Elite: Nazi Zombie Army from Rebellion, originally released back in 2013. Although there is a newer version of the game included in the Zombie Army Trilogy that's already supported by Proton.

Other changes include:

  • Fixed input not working with Studio System : Guardian Angel. (previously in Proton Hotfix)
  • Fixed The Finals crashing after a recent game update. (previously in Proton Hotfix)
  • Fixed Proton 9 regressions:
    • Rising Storm 2: Vietnam is playable again.
