With a first episode that's completely free, Muffles' Life Sentence is a really weird dark comedy 2D RPG where have to swap your face and it's well worth a look.
Here you've been sent to prison where their doctors do clearly pretty terrible things to you depending on your crimes. Your new body has no face and they've sewn your mouth shut, and so you end up being called Muffles. You do have a rather overly-chatty cellmate though to make up for it, who clearly can't understand a word you're trying to say. It has card-based combat and deck-builder elements, with you unlocking more as you go with the face and memory system and so far it just seems thoroughly great.
It's seriously weird and quirky, and a rather unexpected pleasure to find this week. Check out the trailer below:

A dark comedy RPG with quirky characters and a pretty interesting looking story. You can play it on Linux with the latest Proton 9.0-4 where I tested it working great. A game that definitely deserves a lot more eyes on it. One of the most unusual games I've tried out recently.
With the first episode free, the second episode is out now (paid) and a third episode is on the way.
