The popular board game Frosthaven is getting adapted into a video game, with Snapshot Games at the helm led by CEO Julian Gollop, known for designing X-COM. Hopefully it will do better than the last game they designed, Phoenix Point, which is a bit of a mess.

It serves as a spiritual successor to Gloomhaven. A dark fantasy tactical RPG. Isaac Childres, creator of Frosthaven, will be serving as a consultant on the project.

No one year Epic exclusivity like for Phoenix Point?

Phoenix Point is that bad? I was hyped for it, but to be honest, I forgot about it after the end of the EGS exclusivity.
