Iron Galaxy Studios and Activision have revealed that Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3 + 4 remake is real and it's going to release on July 11. This time around it will not be Epic Games Store exclusive, and appears to be entirely skipping the Epic store. Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1 + 2 was Epic Exclusive for multiple years.
With Iron Galaxy Studios at the helm this time, it will be interesting to see what they can do with it. They've been co-developers on the likes of UNCHARTED: Legacy of Thieves Collection and The Last of Us Part I. A few original games too like Killer Instinct and Extinction.

They're also offering a Digital Deluxe Edition, which gives you 3 days early access (although they haven't correctly added it as Advanced Access on Steam yet), the Doom Slayer and The Revenant as playable skaters, additional songs for the in-game soundtrack and more.

The online multiplayer requires an Activision Account.

let's go
In all seriousness though, Tony Hawk 4 is one of the games in the series that I've played the most. I've still got it on the PS2. Probably my third favorite in the series after the first two games on the Dreamcast. 3 was great on the PS2, but I didn't play it as much.
I'll be getting this for sure though. Probably physically on the Switch (2?) and digitally on sale on PSN. Just like I did with the 1+2 remaster.
