A retro goodie rebuilt from 1994, Ironseed 25th Anniversary Edition recently added Linux support

Ironseed from 1994 is not one I'm familiar with, I only know if I had seen it when I was small I probably would have played it for hours. Ironseed 25th Anniversary Edition is a modern 2020 remake and now it has a Native Linux version.

More about it: "The player begins with a single ship and a chosen crew. Planets are randomly generated and numerous ship designs and crew selection allow for different playing styles. Technology research, space exploration, resource management and gathering, production, crew management and alien diplomacy are essential elements. New ships, new upgrades, and ancient artifacts help the player in their efforts. Combat can be both in the form of random encounters or planned for by the player. Ironseed has been compared to Star Control, Starflight, Masters of Orion, Space Rangers, and Captain Blood."
