I learned about West of Loathing recently from Twitter and it seems like it could be a pretty amusing game, it release with Linux support on the 10th of August.

Guts and Glory is basically the 3D version of the Flash game Happy Wheels and this is even acknowledged by its author, a single developer who started the project on his own during his spare time.
The game, as of the day this article was written, holds "overwhelmingly positive" reviews on Steam, so you may want to give it a chance and spend at least a few minutes playing it. You don't have to pay anything, you simply download it (only 8 MB) and load it in mere seconds. It's very easy to learn but a bit tricky to master.
