Gunpods Vagabond is a 2D, side-scrolling shooter with physically simulated, Lunar Lander style movement mechanics. It was built with the open source Godot engine, so I took a look.

While it's sad that Shadow Warrior 2 won't see a day-1 Linux release, in the meantime you can fill the void with the original 1997 version of the game, which has become FREE on GOG.

Gravitus Minus is my fun little discovery today, a free and well designed throwback to gravity shooters from the 80s and early 90s.
