Surprise, I'm finally back! As some of you might know, I have been sitting in the Finnish Defence Forces the past 3-ish weeks but I have now returned for a weekend to reclaim the Friday Livestream, mainly because Liam tactically got sick this evening and someone has to run the show. So, sit tight and buckle up for some live Linux gaming!

OBS Studio is a fantastic bit of open source software for livestreamers, but the Linux version has been plagued with crashing often when capturing a window—no more!

We've been kicking around some ideas about doing a livestream of one of Paradox's grand strategy games. There's a pretty big fan base among GOL readers, so it would be interesting to see how much interest there is and what people would want.

Seven years is a long time! We have some celebrations due on the 5th of July! Games to play, games to give away and fun to be had.

Tonight is our usual weekly livestream and it's a little bit special. I have managed to rope Samsai back in for a night along with article contributor Segata Sanshiro and community member Ysblojke.

As announced previously by Samsai he is temporarily leaving us for his mandatory army training, so I will be taking the livestream bull by the horns.

It's Wednesday, so that means myself and Matt from Feral Interactive will be playing Company of Heroes 2 live on Twitch. Come join us, we need fresh meat for the grinder, Matt also needs someone he can actually win against, poor Matt.

A couple of us are a bit hooked on the FPS game Ballistic Overkill and we did a livestream on Twitch the other night to show it off some more. It's now on Youtube for you to laugh at us.

Friday arrives with yet another Friday Livestream, so drop whatever you are doing and point your browsers or alternative Twitch players towards our channel for some casual Linux gaming and conversation.

Another week, another battle. Tomorrow at 10AM UTC I will be battle against/with (depending on who is around) Matt from Feral Interactive in Company of Heroes 2.

Ah, I do love me some Fridays and, as per usual, we celebrate this great weekday with another video stream of a live nature. Games will be played, bad jokes be made and fun might be had. Just in case that happens, you better strap yourself in and fire up your video player.
