Hello and welcome to my first article on GOL. Today I will talk about a game I played on Android and eventually on Linux called Exile Kingdoms. I first played this game on a tablet, under circumstances I have honestly forgotten, but it left an impression. I decided to pick it up on Steam to relive the experience on a more comfortable platform.

Streets of Rogue is a hard game to describe, apart from being completely hilarious it pulls in rogue-lite elements, some RPG mechanics along with a sort-of open world approach to the level design making it very interesting.

Project 5: Sightseer had me utterly hooked at the start, but after a while it fell a bit flat. Seems the developer really was hard at work to improve it dramatically as this latest update shows.

Open world RPGs is something Linux has quite a big lack of, so the steampunk-inspired RPG Gyre: Nova State would be a welcome addition.

Fancy building a vehicle and exploring a hostile alien landscape? Or perhaps you're more into building a vehicle and battling others online. TerraTech now allows you to do both.

I honestly thought the developer had forgotten about this, but apparently not. Pirate action RPG Tempest has a fresh Linux beta.

BadLands RoadTrip is an incredibly strange open-world FPS with customizable weapons, sadly not one I enjoyed even a moment of.

Big Robot Ltd has given all owners of The Signal From Tolva a big update with an entirely new area: The Polar Regions.

BROKE PROTOCOL, a low-poly open-world action game that's a little like GTA Online and it's coming to Linux.

In the latest production update to We Happy Few, the developers note it will have another delay from going April until 'Summer 2018'.

Tale of Toast is another MMO that will release with Linux support, it will be free to play without any pay to win apparently.

Street of Rogue is a fantastic game, especially when played in co-op, what our livestream viewers jokingly called a 'co-nope' experience.
