While I’m not usually a fan of platformers, my mind has somewhat been changed thanks to Broforce. Today I checked out Toby: The Secret Mine and came off feeling pretty good about it.

RONIN is an action platformer with turn-based combat that was released for Windows this summer. The Linux version was released earlier this week, and if you act quickly you can buy it for half-off as part of the Steam Stealth Sale.
Broforce the massively popular action game will come to Linux with the official release on the 15th of October. I am really excited, as it looks awesome.
Developer Side Scroll Studios has released a new video to show off some of the non-combat elements of their upcoming metroidvania platformer with action RPG elements.
In addition to the free demo, the latest update also introduces an "Easy Mode" to make the game less punishing and a new option to turn off some of the dialogue for players who don't care for as much exposition.
The charming little platformer, noteworthy for its advanced accessibility options and its copyleft license, was recently updated. It now features a crossover mod with Race the Sun and even more accessibility options.
The update is meant to fix more than 160 bugs and address controller issues, and also includes new missions and hardcore levels for an estimated 5 hours worth of additional content.
