Terraria 1.3.2 has been released and along with an assortment of bugfixes it includes some fun new items. Having a Terraria party became a bit more fun.
I have to say, Shadows of Kurgansk looks pretty damn interesting for an action and survival game and it's now on Linux.
Near Death sounds a bit like The Long Dark, but you're in Antarctica and it sounds like it has a really cool thermal simulation inside it.
Always sad when a game sees a delay, but hopefully it will be worth it as The Other 99 actually looks rather good.
Project Zomboid is an amazing game and their attention to detail is getting better and better, this new video showing off new blood and animations in their zombie survival game looks great.
The Ship: Remasted recently released an update that included support for Linux, the developer sent in keys so we gave it a go.
The Long Dark is probably one of the nicest survival games available on Linux right now, it's cold, it's harsh, but it's beautiful.
Probably one of the bleakest DLC around, This War of Mine - The Little Ones DLC is a big expansion to the depressing (but good) survival game This War of Mine.
Duskers, an Indie sci-fi 'rogue-like' strategy game from Misfits Attic has now left Early Access. This is my review of the game after having spent a week and some 5 hours with it.
Distance was a surprise hit with me when I picked it up and it's really pleasing to see it get some big updates. The "Creativity Update" was released yesterday and I've checked it out.
I finally managed to get The Culling to play nicely and recorded a video of me butchering someone, wondering around and making an awesome shot with the bow on Linux.
The survival game 7 Days to Die finally works properly on Linux once again. It was broken back in March, so it's pleasing to finally see it sorted.
Now that The Culling is available on Linux I have taken it for a spin, and here are some quick thoughts on it.
The Culling is the rather good looking battle royale survival game we mentioned only recently and it's now available on SteamOS & Linux.
I've watched Wayward change and grow for years now (first wrote about it in 2013!) and it finally has a Steam release.
The Other 99 looks like a pretty good entry to the single-player action & survival section, and it's releasing into Early Access with Linux support soon.
I must admit I like the look of The Culling! While I like the idea of survival games, they often don't click for me, but a battle royale game I could definitely get into.
It's time to get your survival gear ready, as Don't Starve Together is now officially released and it has a few improvements.
Duskers is the rather unique strategy and survival game in procedurally generated worlds. You pilot drones into spaceships and figure out what's going on.
I really liked Retro-Pixel Castles when I played it initially last year, and after trying it again now it has had some major updates I have some more thoughts on it.
