Not really, there have been few package conflicts with AUR stuff that have been requiring manual intervention. But those are rare. There have been few cases during updates when manual intervention is needed also due to drastical package changes, but those have been documented on the home page. The install has survived 3 different motherboards without any issues. Cloned to new drives 2 times also.

Some artwork from Custom Battler Bomberman got cycled in as the latest background on my Entroware Orion i5 just now, so here's a screenshot. The game pinched a bunch of ideas from Capcom's MegaMan Battle Network, hence the Tron-like cyberspace aesthetic.

Now that's an impressive amount of stuff in your Gnome dock! Tastes really do differ, Ubuntu's Unity-style layout always drives me nuts because the windows are always slightly to the bottom left, due to the dock and the header panel. I don't know why this irks me so, I guess it's because they're not centered.

Damn, this screenshot makes me wish I had a higher resolution display. It's glorious. How big is your display btw?
Unfortunately, even If I were to get a new PC / laptop and a new monitor, I'd go for a 27" 1440p 144/165hz display as 4k gaming imo is still too taxing with the more resource-hungry games out there (and I don't tend to upgrade my hardware too often).
As to switching audio, I use a GNOME extension to take care of that. I've installed various extensions that expand the tray menu a bit (add an audio input / output chooser, audio mixer, bluetooth quick connect - I use it to turn off my controller when I finish playing, GSconnect (KDE connect for GNOME) and buttons for accessing the GNOME tweaks and GNOME extensions apps).

Well, finally I have a picture to post in this thread! I usually use GNOME 4X, which makes for a pretty bare and boring to post desktop.
But a while ago, I decided to check out the newest Pro version of ZorinOS. I won't use it on my main desktop, as Zorin packages are usually not very leading edge, but I like what Artyom Zorin is doing with the distro. I put the Lite version on my little Tuxedo notebook and I'm pretty pleased with it!

I'm normally a very patient woman, but a recent update to Raspberry Pi OS got on my last nerve and prompted me to (finally) move my desktop daily-driver Raspberry Pi 4 over to Xubuntu this evening, by way of setting up the official Ubuntu image and then switching it over. I wish that they'd just provide a ready-to-go Xubuntu image, but at the end of the day this wasn't too big of a hassle, so it's ok.
If you use a Raspberry Pi in a desktop capacity, you're probably aware that the hardware's mouse-polling can be a bit quirky with some devices; This is commonly believed to only affect wireless mice, but it actually affects wired ones too. The most recent update broke this for me, rendering my wired Kensington Orbit trackball borderline unusable - and worse, the well-known method for fixing it also broke! I've been tolerant of these oddball occurrences with Raspberry Pi OS until now, but this one annoyed me too much - it seems to be the only distro out there where ancient issues that I used to see almost 15 years ago seem to keep coming back from the dead every now and then, and I've had enough of it now. Moreover, it feels to me that it just doesn't give a good first impression of modern desktop Linux anymore, so I won't be recommending it to others from here on out either.
So, yes, my RPi is now happily on Xubuntu, matching all of my other machines, and this is how it's looking right now.

You like bold colours!
That seems like a comfy RaspberryPi, I think Xubuntu has always had one of the nicest XFCE themes around. And it's blazing fast, in my experience.
