Kaspersky Virus Scanner?

Kaspersky came out with a virus scanner. Especially made for Linux. You need to give it root permissions to let it be most effective. What do you guys make of this?

Personally I prefer CalmAV(open source, longer presence on linux), but I fully understand that Kaspersky's reputation of interesting discoveries might attract users.

Clam, not Calm, but yes, it does the job and is available in your distro's repositories. It's a set of command line tools, but third party GUIs and DE integrations are available.
If it isn't FOSS i'll pass. That being said I prefer common sense over AV anyway.

Oh man, reminds me of Comodo Antivirus for Linux. I think they gave up on that after a year or so.
