Fallout: London installation
There hasn't been much written yet on getting Fallout London working on Linux, so I figured that I would compile my experience into this guide. As of now, you do likely need the GOG version of Fallout 4: If you know how to make it work with the Steam version, comment below.

To install Fallout London on Linux:

1. Open Lutris
Note 1: When installing, before hitting "next" on the first menu, set cache location to save a copy of the GOG download files; then install from those if you have to re-install later. Or select installer files.

2. Ensure that wine version is set to "default"

a. On left side select "Wine"

b. Then Configure (gear icon)

c. Set Wine Version "wine-ge-X-XX-x86_64 (default)" whatever the current default is.

d. Save

3. Install "Fallout 4: Game of the Year Edition" from GOG

a. Select Install.

b. Go through GOG installer as normal.

c. When installed, run the game once

d. Exit when the main menu appears. This will configure the Wine Prefix

4. Install "Fallout: London" from GOG

a. Save a local copy of download files or select installer files as for Fallout 4

b. Go through GOG installer as normal.

5. Launch Fallout: London

a. On first launch it will give an error that it cannot find the Fallout 4 files.

b. Select "/user/*name*/home/games/gog/fallout-4-game-of-the-year-edition/drive_c/gog games/fallout 4 goty"

c. Complete installation as prompted.

d. Launch Fallout: London

e. Exit once main menu is loaded.

********************************************
Steps 6 & 7 may not be required for everyone.
********************************************
Note 2: Step 6 likely not needed if your distro has Wine version 9 available or as default. You could also update wine manually, see winehq.org if you want to do that. This was brought to my attention on Steam where I have also posted this guide.

6. Install xact with winetricks - This is needed to fix an audio error in wine.

a. Select Fallout: London in the Lutris Menu

b. Select "winetricks" from wine menu (wineglass icon)

c. Select "install an application"

d. Select "cancel"

e. Select "install a windows DLL or component" under "What would you like to do to this wineprefix?"

f. Select "xact_x64"

g. Select "OK"

h. Install & ignore any errors or warnings it gives

*****************************************
Note 3: Step 7 is for those experiencing the "train crash" at the end of the opening sequence, it doesn't hurt, but may not be necessary for your system, or if team FOLON fixes it themselves:
*****************************************
7. Install "Buffout 4" Mod from Nexusmods

a. Download "Buffout 4" mod from Nexusmods

b. Extract files, which creates folder "Buffout 4-47359-1-28-6-1690000405"

c. Copy "F4SE" folder from extracted folder

d. Paste to "/home/*username*/Games/gog/fallout-4-game-of-the-year-edition/drive_c/GOG Games/Fallout 4 GOTY", when prompted to "merge": replace existing files.
******************************************

8. Launch Fallout: London

9. Enjoy.

***EDIT*** added instructions for installing "Buffout 4" mod to fix the "train crash" at the end of the opening sequence.
