The developers of the RPG/Tower-Defense hybrid have announced that their upcoming free HD remake update won't be using Adobe AIR and instead will be a native port for Linux.

The game, featuring an unlikely combination of gameplay elements, was a surprise release. We have Ethan Lee and FNA to thank for the port and we can expect to see more of his ports in the near future.

The developers have shared information on the status of the Linux version and will soon offer an opt-in branch on Steam for Linux users willing to test the port.
